Start from where you are

A lot of times, the reason why most people never start out with their ideas and launch their business plans is that they are waiting for the perfect time.

The sad truth is that THE PERFECT TIME WILL NEVER COME.

That is why you have to start with what you have where you are at the moment.

For me, after that event at Lekki, I had an idea that was going to help me launch out. I remembered that my best friend’s cousin was making Tie&dye shirts and I reached out to him to sell for him. He agreed and sent me pictures of some shirts he had. I went on to create a simple launch plan and I launched the business on WhatsApp at exactly 8 pm on the 30th of November 2018.

It started out with a simple WhatsApp broadcast message and I started getting some orders here and there. I started improving the packaging of the business and in 2019, just about a year after the business was launched, I had sold over 1000 shirts and had generated multiple millions of naira in revenue.

It was a ONE-MAN business……. No Office, No Staff, Nothing special.

Just an idea, social media and passion.

So, stop overthinking your ideas, JUST START NOW!

The worse that would happen is failure and that is not a big deal at all.
