Why I decided to start writing blog posts

I know this is 2022 and starting a blog seems like an outdated thing to do as we have gone past that “Blog, Blog, Bloggers” era.

However, a few months ago, I discovered that since I started out with business in 2018 November.

I really don’t know if I should keep telling people I started business in November 2018 or December 2018 because in the real sense, I started on 30th November, the last day of the month and the launch was around 8 pm.

That was by the way.

I have learnt a lot of lessons, shared a lot of insights with people and also put out a lot of content since then.

I shared most of these things on my WhatsApp and email and somehow I don’t have most of them anymore as posts on WhatsApp disappear after 24 hours.

A lot of people would be happy to read those posts but then, I don’t have most of them anymore.

I see a blog as a better way to document things and always come back to them.

One can get banned on social media and lose all the content there.

On the other hand, some of the greatest people I admire have blogs and these blog posts helped me connect with some of the things they did a very long time ago.

As a matter of fact, I have been opportuned to read articles from Akin Alabi from as far back as 2005/2006 because he documented them properly. I was in primary school when he wrote some of those posts.

So, ride on this journey with me and ensure you share posts that you find interesting with your family and friends.

In my blogs, I will be talking mainly about small business, life, finance, travel and any other thing that pops up in my head.
